A Skid is a modular, self-contained facility built with specific features for the purpose of assisting the operation of more complex industrial plants.

The advantage of Skids comes from the fact that they are assembled and tested before they arrive at the site of use. Integration with the main plant is therefore very rapid, which minimizes interruptions in the production cycle.

An indispensable element of any Skid is the platform on which it is mounted. In addition to providing a solid and specific support for the plant, the platform must allow easy and safe transportation of the Skid after it has been assembled, and facilitate access to it by those involved in its operation. For these reasons, each platform must be designed and built specifically for each individual Skid installation.
